Paul Jones, MD

Message from Dr. Jones:

My journey in medicine started in the US Army in the run-up to Operation Iraqi Freedom, 2003. I was selected to carry the Combat Life-Saver bag for the Armor Company I was assigned to out of Friedberg, Germany. Later, my Career Counselor suggested me to attend the US Military’s Physician Assistant Program in at Ft Sam Houston in San Antonio in 2007. I immediately fell in love with Texas!

Upon Graduating I spent four good years as a Physician Assistant with the Army in Ft Polk, Louisiana. While there I applied to medical school and was accepted to Texas A&M University College of Medicine 2014. I then went on to do my Residency in Internal Medicine co-located in Tyler and Longview. After graduating in 2018, I then worked three years for Baylor, Scott and White in the Georgetown – Sun City clinic, a clinic known for its medically complex geriatric population.

Seeking a better education for our four young children, the Jones family has moved to the Eanes School District and is opening a new clinic in the community: Optimum Wellbeing! My wife and partner, Dr Kristina Jones and I are honored to have the opportunity to serve you!
